I mailed two handwritten letters to both of my sponsor children not long ago. When I checked online I see the scanned copy of the letter written to Jhorlan but not the one to Nahom. Just wanted to know if I have to mail another one or if I just have to wait a little bit longer.

Thank you!

Hi! Mine usually take 7-10 days from when I mail them to show them uploaded onto my account. How long ago did you send Nahom’s?

I have written to my three sponsor children many times, and once a letter did not go through. The website has a lot of traffic with all of the people on it so it might lose letters once in a while. I had to rewrite my child and explain that I hadn't forgotten him. If it has been more than two weeks, I would rewrite your letter.

I took it to the post office 11 days ago. I took both letters with me and sent them at the same time. I think I’ll wait a day or two to see if it pops up on the app, if not I’ll just send another.

Thank you!

Betsy, thank you so much for asking this question! It is very possible that the letter to Nahom was placed in a different pile to be sorted and scanned into our system than Jhorlan's, which might be why Nahom's is not showing in the system yet. I truly hope that it does show up in your online account in the next few days. If it does not, I recommend sending another one just like you mentioned above.
