Hello, I sponsor a little boy in the Philippines named Jayramie. About a year ago, his area was hit by a typhoon, and after hearing from Compassion that his family lost things in the storm, I sent his family a family gift to hopefully help them replace what was lost. I didn't receiver any letters from him until just last month (I figured that I hadn't heard from him in so long because everyone was probably rebuilding in his area and then maybe the backlog from the new letter writing process was affecting things too), but the letter didn't mention the gift. Since it's been nearly a year, is there a way for someone at Compassion to confirm that his family did receive the gift? He doesn't have to write me a letter about it (he is only 7 after all), but given the timeframe here and the things going on in India (I sponsor a girl there), I am getting curious about what happened with the gift. Another smaller question I have: supposedly there are 2 letters coming from Jayramie according to the Compassion app, but they're "under review." What does that mean? His number is PH747025 and mine is 3487560 if that helps. Thanks so much!

Hi Gina! I am so sorry you have had to wait so long for a thank you letter and photo for this very generous gift! I just sent an inquiry to make sure that he received it and ask that he sends a thank you letter and photo as soon as possible. We will notify you just as soon as we hear back from our field office in the Philippines. Thank you so much for bringing this issue to our attention and for all of your love and support for children in poverty! God bless you!
