Hello, I received a letter from a child other than the one I sponsor by mistake. Their name is Zefanya Hadapan from Indonesia and I believe their child ID is 011600354. Thank you,

Andy, if you have a scanner, you can scan the letter and attach it to an email to socialmedia@compassion.com and they will get it to the right sponsor.

With the new system, I don't think you even have to go to that much trouble any more -- now that you've drawn attention to it, I think they can just pull it up.

True, if they even know what letter it was that he received.

Hi Andy! Thank you so much for letting us know about this issue. I am not showing any letters from this child getting routed to you so I am thinking regrettably that maybe there was a mistake while we were stuffing envelopes. How did you receive this letter? Was it a physical letter in the mail or can you see it on your My Account?

Hi Susan,

Yes, in the mail the envelope I received said on the outside-letter from your sponsored child. Then inside, it had a letter from the child I mentioned above. It also included a blank letter for me to reply, however that one was addressed to the correct child that I sponsor. I also think it might have happened while stuffing envelopes. I don't mind, as long as the correct sponsor does receive their letter from this child. Based on the content it sounds like they have developed a good relationship. Thanks!

Hi Andy!

Thank you so much again for letting us know about this issue. If you could, please send us this letter back so we can give it to the correct sponsor. You can write a note inside saying this letter was sent to you, instead of the correct sponsor. Thanks again! :)

Madison, I apologize but the letter looked like it had been printed out (as opposed to an original) so I discarded it already. I was anticipating that you had digital records. If you need a way to reference it, the child asked the sponsor for the names of their children. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Andy, that's completely ok! We can actually just send the letter to the right sponsor by printing another copy of it :).
