I received a letter today from my boy in Indonesia.  Attached to it were two pictures of a boy, with some items he purchased as a gift.  The pictures are rather poor quality, so at first I didn't realize they weren't from my child.  But on closer examination, I realized the error, and checking the back of the photo, noticed the child number written on them is not my child's number.  I'm assuming these were supposed to go to a different sponsor, and was thinking I could send them back in, but, like I said, they are very poor quality.  So I'm not really sure if I should or not.  The child number on the back of the photos is: IO7170076, child's name is Gilgal G.

Hi Jamie! Sweet Gilgal is actually a Compassion Canada child and he's sponsored by someone through our Canada office. Please accept my sincere apologies that you received a photo from the wrong child as it certainly traveled in the wrong direction! It would be wonderful if you were able to send this back to us! This would allow us to not only get the information to the correct sponsor but if needed, the Canada office will have to have that picture in order to get a better quality photo from the field office if necessary for that sponsor.

You can mail the photo to the following address:

Attention Emily (Contact Center)
Compassion International
(No Street Address Necessary)
Colorado Springs, CO 80997

Thank you so much again for your kindness in telling us about this photo so that we can be sure to get it to the right sponsor :). And I apologize again that it was sent to you in error!

Thanks for the quick reply Emily!  And no need to apologize.  While at first I was excited to have received photos with the letter, I wasn't expecting any, so there's no real loss on my part.  I would hate for Gilgal's sponsor to miss out, though.  I'll send the pictures to you ASAP.
