Wouldn't it be cool if the child can actually visit the sponsor? I think that showing them about life out of poverty can really show them that: yes, they can succeed and live in abundance and how it feels to live the way we do (so that they can develop a dream). I know this is a controversial but I posted this idea with good intentions. Just a thought.

Thanks!

Compassion actually had some Togo sponsored children come up to Colorado to sing back in 2008. It is a controversial topic though, and right now Compassion only allows sponsors to visit their children. Many formerly sponsored children come to the US. It is great to hear their stories of how their sponsor's letters encouraged them to succeed and how they broke the cycle of poverty in their families.

Thanks for the idea, Luis! It's not something we are able to do at this time, but it certainly would be a neat experience.
