I have consistently had an issue with the coloring pages I send to my 3 sponsor children not being scanned. I was told that they absolutely are a scannable document. Why are they not being scanned????

Angelslegacy, I sincerely apologize for the frustration and confusion surrounding the coloring pages you are so sweetly sending to your children. Can you give me a few examples of letters you have sent that should have had coloring pages attached? I've been looking through your recent letters and haven't been able to find any with those coloring pages scanned into the system. They should be with the letters you send. Are you mailing these coloring pages in with handwritten letters? Are any other items included with these letters? Have you been sending them with online letters? I want to look deeper into this situation for you; I just need some more information before I am able to do so.

Sarah,
I chose a few letters for each of my spolnsor kids which all included 1 or 2 colored pages that were never scanned. For my 2 girls, my colored pages are never scanned either.
Anna:7/20, 6/22, 6/6
Aziza: 7/20, 6/22, 6/6, 6/7
Rashidi: 6/10, 6/22, 7/20
If you can find out why the colored pages for any of the above were never scanned that would be great!

Angelslegacy, did you send other things with these letters that we were physically mailing to the children? That would include stickers, bookmarks, or musical cards. I am showing that each of these letters included items that were eligible to be physically sent to the kiddos. If that is the case, we wouldn't have scanned the coloring pages. We would just sent them along physically to the kiddos along with the other items and letters. The letters had to be scanned in order to be translated, which is why they show up. Does that make sense?

Yes, I always send coloring pages, bookmarks, and stickers when I send them letters. So basically, unless I only send my letter with a coloring page, nothing but my letter will get scanned.

That makes sense then, Angelslegacy! Correct, Compassion isn't scanning those coloring pages in since you are also sending items we are already physically delivering to the kiddos. The only things we need to scan are items that need translation :). If you send letters in the future with coloring pages but without items we physically deliver to the children (bookmarks, stickers, musical cards), the coloring pages would be scanned along with the letterĀ since that is the only way the kiddos would receive them. Thank you so much for hanging in there with my while I looked into this situation for you!
