Our child Juana Roxana Aguilar Gomez #GU9390471, stated in the last letter we received, dated May 2015, that she was not able to continue her studies due to lack of money. She states that she was to start her first year of middle school and it costs about Q1500.00. I looked up the equivalent U.S. Dollars and I believe it is around $200.00, is this correct? She states the money would cover tuition, paperwork, uniform and other things. How would we go about making this happen for her?

Phyllis, that is wonderful that your sponsored child was able to tell you all of these details! It sounds like approximately $194-200 USD would cover her schooling for a year. You are welcome to send a Family Gift and designate it for her schooling. To do so online, please log into your "My Account" and click the button for "Additional Giving." Use the drop-down menu for Family Gift to select the amount. While checking out for your gift, please click the link to add special instructions and type in the box that the gift is for school.
