I sent my sponsored children cards in the mail and I hoping I did it properly by just mailing them to companion with the sponsor number on it?

Crissy,
That is what I do as well. I put the card in an envelope with the child name and number on it, as well as my name and number. I also leave the envelope unsealed. Then I put that envelope inside a bigger one to send to Compassion. That way hopefully when everything is sent to the project there is an envelope for the child to open.

I have never put it in a bigger envelope.....would there have been a problem with the child getting the card?

Hi Crissy! No worries! Your children will still receive your cards! :) I believe that Compassion encourages sending cards the way Jason mentioned if you would like to send the card and the envelope together but as long as you write your child's name and number and/or your sponsor number on your card then Compassion will know how to process them. The cards will just be repackaged since, for security purposes, Compassion doesn't forward anything on with the sponsors address written on it. Thanks for writing to your kiddos! It sounds like your an awesome sponsor! :)
