How long will it take for my child to get money I send to him for birthdays or Christmas? A week or two or more than a month??

It takes 2-3 months for the child to receive their money. I usually send bday gifts 2 months before my chidren's birthdays. There is a cutoff for the Christmas fund (which all the monies are pooled together so every Compassion child gets a present). I can't remember when it is, but I think it's the end of October.

Hey there! We recommend sending gifts about 2-3 months prior to the event. However, we will send Birthday gifts at any time of the year regardless of your child's exact birthdate. The children are not expecting a gift from you so a gift from you will be a huge blessing even if it is received after their birthday.

The cutoff for Christmas donations are October 31st of every year. If your donation is not received by this date, we will use it to bless children with Christmas gifts the following year.
