I sponsor more than one child, and I am wondering how wise (or unwise) it would be to share some of lives of the children with one another? By this, I am not looking to open the flood gates, per se. Yet, perhaps sharing the fact that they exist, their names, and brief events in their lives? Let me know what you think?

There has been quite the discussion on this on the OurCompassion forums with many who do choose to tell their kids about each other and others who don't think it's a good idea.
I think for me it would depend on why I'm telling them. Are they in the same country and I am planning on taking a trip to see them? If so, I would tell them about each other so they weren't surprised on child visit day.
On the other hand, I want my kids to each feel special and I wonder if they knew I sponsored several kids would they feel less special because of it?
LOL, so I probably haven't helped you at all....I think I just confused myself even more. o.O

Hey there! Compassion doesn't prohibit you from sharing with your sponsored children information about other children that you sponsor. However, I personally agree with Kristen that it is a good idea to think about why you would like to share this information and whether or not this information would be helpful to them.
