First, from my now-4 year old. I sponsored her at 2, when was still in the Mother-child program and her mother writes most of her letters.  Her latest letter tells me "She likes to go to school because she wants to learn to read and write, to be able to write to you."  This follows a theme in her letters. Last month she wrote to say thank you (probably for her Christmas gift) and wrote "She also wants to say that when she's able to write you letters she will write you many more letters"

My 9 year old in Colombia honored me with this "I give you a Bible verse in Proverbs 31:29 "Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all."  Gets you right here (heart).  This one is going in my scrapbook.

I eagerly await another letter from my 18 year old in Rwanda "when I come to the project and they tell me that I have a letter, I become so glad that I say God you gave me a beautiful friend."

Compassion, you have given me such a great blessing to be able to be involved in these children's lives. I just wanted to come back and say Thank You.
