I am getting married in May and would like to send my sponsored girl one of our wedding invitations. I know she cannot come, but I thought that perhaps she would like the pretty paper and pretty writing. They do have two small metal dragonfly brads on them.

Thanks for the quesiton, Katherine. You can certainly send her one of your invitations, however, the metal dragonfly brads would need to be removed in order to do so. Also, if the invitation has an address on it (like the church address, etc), that would need to be removed as well. Compassion is very careful not to send personal contact information to the country offices and/or project. I would also suggest sending a letter along with the invitation just explaining what it is and that you just wanted to share this with her. She likely has never seen a wedding invitation before, so it would be a really neat thing to share!
