Can I change my settings to get a copy of the letter in spanish? So I would be able to reply to her a little faster. It took 4 months to get a reply. I know Spanish very well, so I don't need it translated.

Hi Janessa! I am sorry that you are discouraged concerning the time it has taken to receive a reply from your child, Carlita. From what I see in the system, the communication between the two of you has actually been faster over the last few months than when you started sponsoring her last year. Regrettably, her letters do have to go through the translation process even though you are able to understand the Spanish. Our system is currently set up to translate all the letters into English if they are going to USA sponsors. I'm so sorry, but I do think that with continued correspondence, you will keep hearing from Carlita faster :).
