Hi Deenie! Great question :). We want your child to feel special and when they come to the center, we want them to share in the traditions and celebrations that are common to their culture but especially occasions that all children should get the opportunity to experience! These special celebrations include things like, Christmas parties where they tell the children about the birth of Jesus and each child receives a specially wrapped gift that is personalized to them! Other celebrations might include birthdays, graduations, celebrating accomplishments of grades or passing exams, etc. One celebration they have that is specific to their culture is called Pongal. Pongal is like an Indian thanksgiving celebrated throughout all of India. It's a four day winter festival and Pongal is the second day.
