I was about to send a one-time gift to my sponsored child's family today when I noticed that my sponsor webpage indicates in red numbering that I owe $76--exactly 2 months of my one-child sponsorship--as if it's past-due. However, my credit union report shows that my VISA has been charged that $38/month on the 6th of the month right up through last month (August). This is the second time in a year that this has happened, and it leaves me hesitant to proceed with any additional gifts.

I'll let the ladies that monitor this answer, but I have a question. Did you, by chance, sponsor children in India? I had two girls there, and when they had to close shop there, I had my money transferred to another child. The money is going to my replacement child, but, due to some glitch, it shows I am past due every month. I was told to just ignore it. Eventually, it should go away. Your issue might be similar.

Hi, Garry. No, I haven't sponsored any children from India yet. Thanks for the reach-out, though.

Hi Andrew! I am so sorry for the confusion regarding your account showing you are behind in donations. As of this morning since a donation for September was pulled for Icram in Tanzania, I do only see one $38 donation that was missed. That donation was missed way back in March when you decided to make Icram your new sponsored child. I took care of covering that missed March donation today. You should be able to log into your account in the next 24 hours and see your current, updated donations.
