Hello, I am in high school and am involved in my youth group at our church. I was wondering if Compassion International has 20-30 kids in the same village so that our youth group would be able to all sponsor a child from the same village?

Hey Mallory! I am in high school too :) To sponsor a child, it costs $38 a month. My youth group co-sponsors one girl, and each of us gives about $2-3 monthly. By myself, I also sponsor a child on my own, so it is definitely possible for the teens in your youth group to do the same.

Compassion works out of churches. They are called projects or centers. About 200 children attend each center. If you call Compassion (800-336-7676), you can ask about sponsoring multiple children from the same center. I am sure that there are multiple centers with that many kids needing sponsorship.

When I started sponsoring with Compassion, my life changed. It has been such a blessing! If you have any questions, just ask :)
