Good morning: I sponsor two children. In 2019 I sent them both Christmas and birthday gifts. The correct amount was deducted from my account but I notice on one of my children’s profile that it says only one gift was given. Can you help with this? Thank you
Hi Jill! Thank you so much for your generosity towards your sponsored children by sending them these gifts! I do see that both Christmas and birthday gifts for both of your children were processed. However, on your online account and through the app, only the birthday gift will show for each child. This is because the Christmas gifts are all placed into a general "Christmas fund" that goes towards every child in Compassion's program, including those who do not have sponsors or whose sponsors may be unable to give. Your children still received a gift from this fund, but the gift itself wouldn't show on your child's profile. Hopefully this makes sense! Please let us know if you have any other questions!
