I opened this account for my twin great nieces, teaching them how to be a blessing and give back, while they were visiting me for the summer and I took them to the Compassion Experience. I'm not working and my husband and I have gone from a two to a one income household. It would help if I could take a break from the payments a few months and start up again with lesser payments. I don't want to cancel entirely because I don't want Deuine to be without a sponsor again. Can you help out at this point?

I recently had unexpected medical expenses and with newer insurance policies I am not qualifying for any aid from my insurance until I reach a deductible i can't afford. Is there a way to postpone giving for a few months until I pay off some unexpected debt without my child losing aid? please direct me to somebody who can help! Thank you!

I'm behind on what I owe and I'm struggling to pay.. Money has been tight with my job. I have already opted to pay $19 for 6 months, but now I'm back to having to pay $38 again and it's been a stressful time trying to choose between bills and this. What can I do? I'm behind, but I don't want to stop sponsoring. Help!!!

My brother and I sponsored a child back in the fall. He is now getting married and will no longer be able to pay half with me. I am paying off student loans so I will not be able to pay for the highly vulnerable care, but I do not want to cancel my sponsorship for Geovanna. Are the any options to help with sponsorship costs?
Thank you,
Sam

Hi, I have been sponsoring two children for I think about 15 years now. I am currently struggling with the payments due to entering a mortgage, as well as some health issues. I wanted to know if:
1. One of my children is almost 20 years of age. Does the sponsorship end when a child reaches a certain age?
2. How to cancel my sponsorship or if there is a way I can suspend my sponsorship for a few months.
I am saddened to have to ask such questions but unfortunately, these are currently some difficult times.

- Yes, the sponsorship does end when a child reaches a certain age or completes their program track. The completion age varies between 18 and 22 years of age depending on the country and the relevant programs in their area. I can check your child's anticipated completion date if that would be helpful for you.
- We can help you with whatever you need done on your account. We do have some options that may be able to help you to be able to continue the relationship that you have started with your children. For example, we would be happy to cover three months for you and then lower your support amount to $19 per child, per month for up to six months.

We've had a rough couple months and I'm behind on my sponsor payments but I plan on getting caught up on April 7th, and I just wanted to let you know so that Mishel isn't removed from my account before I am able to get caught up. Please let me know if this is ok? Thanks.

Hi. I'm wondering if there is a way to suspend my sponsorship. Financially, I am loosing half my income. I've reached out to friends and people at my church to take over sponsorship of my child, but that has been unfruitful. I'm actively searching for a better paying job, but right now, I cannot support my household. Is there any way to suspend sponsorship until I'm back on my feet? My heart is so heavy.

I need to stop automatic payments because I lost my job and money is tight. I want to continue sponsoring her but I don't know how long I'm going to be without a paycheck.

I need to cancel a portion of my sponsorship. I would like to keep only the $38 per month automatic payment for my one child, but delete the other items. Can you help me with this?

I need to temporarily reduce my payments to $19 for 6 months then go back up to $38 a month. Please begin with May 16 payment. Thank you!

I've had an unforseen hardship and will need to either cancel my sponsorship or put it on hold for a few months. If it is possible to put it on hold, please do so for me. I will not have the funds to cover my sponsorship donations starting in June, as I have not worked since May due to an accident and surgery. Hopefully I'll have a speedy recovery and be back to work by the end of June. Please advise soon or I will need to cancel and would rather not do that. Thank you.
