I am seeking help for my sponsorship fees. I recently have started to have to pay on my massive student loans and also dealing with increased costs for insurance and tax debt. I have considered discontinuing my sponsorship but don't want my sponsored child to suffer due to this. Are there any options?
Thank you

Like many of the posts here I too have been struggling with my keeping up with my payments. Throughout the past Fall 2015 semester in the nursing program and only working once a week it has been difficult having enough money to cover my sponsorship. I do not plan on canceling my sponsorship but I am worried about being insufficient in my funds. I am approaching one year of friendship with my sponsor child Richard this March and I would be so devastated that I may not be able to help him as I know God has placed on my heart to.
I was wondering if you could offer me the wonderful options that have been applied to my fellow sponsors as well? It would be greatly appreciated and such a huge help and blessing for Richard and I.
Again thank you so much for your help, kindness, and commitment in serving God and others. You are truly blessings.

Hello. My finances have recently tightened up and I am having trouble maintaining my sponsorship. I have shared living expenses with roommates for the last 3 years of my sponsorship and now am renting an apartment on my own. Sponsoring Sheila has been a joy and I do not wish to stop. I read that you can cover a sponsorship for a few months and allow smaller payments for a period of 6 months. Is this correct? If so, I would be so grateful for this help.
Thank you

Recently I have experienced some unexpected financial changes, and am having a very difficult time making the monthly payment. I absolutely do not want to cancel my sponsorship...is it possible to put my sponsorship on hold for a few months, or are there any other options?

I have updated your support for your children so that they're covered for two months. Nancy is already current through the end of March so I didn't touch her support.

I have updated your account today so that your support is current through the end of May. Come June, please let us know if you're still unable to give any support and we're happy to help you out. We might be able to hold off for another couple of months or if things are starting to improve, we can just temporarily reduce your rate to $19 for a while :). I pray your situation improves quickly for your family!

I have updated your account today so that your support will be current through the end of March. Beginning in April, your rate for her will be $19 and that will last for six months. My prayer is that things will have improved for you come October and you'll be able to go back to the normal rate.
You're amazing and thank you for letting us know what's going on so that we can help you!

Is there any way you could help me to find people to financially sponsor some or even just 1 of my children but I still write? I am only able to work part time right, and so things are tight. I know you have already covered several months for me, I hate to ask more. I really can't stand the thought of giving up my children, so it would be so amazing if I could still write to them but have someone else pay.

Hello, my husband and I are looking to try and put a temporary hold on our sponsorship due to our finances being a little tight right now. We would like to keep it active and continue with it as soon as things get back on track. Please let me know the best option that we might have. Thank you

I have updated your account today so that your support for Pedro is current through the end of June. Your next donation will not withdrawal until July 20th. Thank you so much for choosing to invest in Pedro's life!
My prayer is that this will give you time to get back on your feet, comfortable and well settled in your new job, and caught up on car payments. Let us know in June if things are not as you'd hoped and we can work with you! :)

We definitely understand circumstances change and we want to help you maintain your relationship with Fairy if your financial situation right now is short term. Would it help you if we completely covered your back support and also brought your child's support current through the end of July? Come August, we can re-evaluate your situation and see where you're at? Please let me know if this would help you out as you get back on your feet.

My parents are going through a lengthy divorce, and it is really hard for my mom and I to currently just keep the utilities running. Is there any way I can temporarily "suspend" my payments or do something for a time where my child isn't without sponsorship while my mom and I get back up on our feet? I honestly feel so bad doing this to my little girl. :(

I am heading to college this fall and I am sponsoring two wonderful girls. I'm trying to save as much as I can for school and for all of my other expenses and for the girls, but money is tight. Is there any other way to work this out financially other than canceling one or both. It would break my heart.

I recently became unemployed and got in a car accident the same day I lost my job. Money is really tight right now to the point where I can't even pay my credit cards. Is there anything you guys can do to help me? I don't want to lose my child from lack of funds. I am currently in the process of finding a new job but nothing is concrete yet. My child's ID is: RW2820050

Financial Crisis due to me buying a new car a few months back. With the payements to my car and Orthodontic care amoung other bills I have fallen behind on my sponsership. I do not want to give up my child but I cannot afford it right now. What can I do? This has been very hard for me. I have grown attached to my child though I have been his sponser less than a year now.

I am so sorry to hear that you are struggling. :( It sounds like you are still in school. I know that it can be tough to just support yourself when you are in college let alone a sponsored child. Please know that we are here to help with whatever you need to do right now. We do have some options that may be able to help if you think that you just need some time to get through the woods. For example, we could cover your support for three months and then lower your support amount for six months. Please let me know if this would help. If not, let me know and I'll make Seraphine available for another sponsor.
