Ladies, first of all I thank you for everything! I work at our local community college and I have quite a few international students some of whom know I have a sponsor kiddo and a few correspondence kiddos...some are so happy and excited to find out about all of my 'kids' and I even have one student from Ethiopiawho is familiar with Compassion!.. one of these students has recently offered to bring a gift for me to Gerson when he visits home in Honduras over Christmas break- provided it's nearby, even offering to mail it from his parents home there if it's farther away, is this a possibility? If so how do we go about this so I can let him know all this information?

Thank you
April

Hi April! Wow, what a blessing for you to have so many sweet international friends who are familiar with Compassion and want to help you bless your child! Regrettably, we do need an eight week notice in order to set up a meeting with the child one on one, but your friend can drop of the gift at our country office in Honduras. Our staff there will send Gerson's gift to the project with all the letters after it arrives. If your friend cannot physically drop it off, he can also mail it to the office from in country. If that sounds like a good idea to you, I can send you more information, including the country office address, through an email :).
