Thank you for these small changes!

I just want to thank you for a couple of small changes that I have noticed recently and that I appreciate! Sometimes we are quick to complain but not as quick to give thanks. I like that the slide show pictures in the "Step into your child's world" area of my account are changed more slowly. This is so much nicer, as it gives more time to read the captions and really look closely at the photos! Another change I recently noticed is first names of our sponsored children showing up in the notifications of the letter writing section. These names are much more recognizable to me than the middle and last names. I also have a child who only has a first name, so her name was not showing at all before this recent tweak! So thank you! Even small changes can make a positive difference! :)

Thanks for being so encouraging, Laura! :) And for the reminder to give thanks for the hard work of others and the great things that we get to enjoy because of that! Compassion is such a great organization and I'm also so thankful for all the hard work and dedication that they put into helping us sponsors and reaching more children in poverty around the world. It's an honor to be a part of this ministry alongside sponsors like you! Have a blessed weekend!

Adam. How are you doing these days? I just got back from Colombia on an individual visit with my sponsor child. If I remember correctly you have one there too. Your turn!!! LOL I do hope you get to go there.

I'm doing really good, sir. Thank you for asking. I just got back from inshore fishing and hanging out on the beach in Alabama, but that doesn't sound nearly as exciting as going to Colombia! My wife and I sponsor a girl who lives there and we would love to go visit her in the next few years. We were actually just talking about how to plan our finances in order to do that. How was your trip? Which department did you visit?

I was in Bogota. Her teacher and project director were sponsor kids. When you do go I can recommend a hotel with free airport transportation. I'm already planning to go back next year. By the way, I'm in north Alabama. LOL
