Transportation from santo dimingo dominican republic to san juan dominican republic

I am trying to plan a custom trip to see my girl in san juan Dominican republic but there are no air port near there closest one seems to be in santo dimingo does anyone have a clue on the transportation? its 3 hours from where I need to be

You could get a connecting flight to Constanza. From there, it is about 3.5 hours to San Juan. In these countries, some land travel is almost certain.

google says santo domingo is 3 hrs from san juan lo, so that would be even further I know i'll have to do land travel I am just wondering if I can get like a private van??? does anyone know?
