We need help with getting my husband's company's name off our account. I called Compassion and was told a new account needed to be created and our child transferred to the new account. However, the letter we received from Compassion this week had the old account number, and the confirmation number I received when I called for the request to change the name to ours (7395) as an account number? I'm confused. I don't understand how my husband's company name became the name on the account in the first place. Please, someone help resolve this issue.

Hi Christine! Though I am not sure why the account was set up in the name of your husband's company in the first place, we were actually able to keep your old account number and simply change the name because we hadn't received a donation from a card with the company name on it. There are lots of complicated bank rules that we have to adhere to, but in your case we were able to simply change the name instead of creating a new account! It is now in the name of Daniel and Kristine Vidolich as requested, and you can start writing to Jackeline right away!

Awesome! Thank you so much. Could you correct the spelling of my name to be Christine? C instead of a K. Thank you.

Hi Christine :). I'm so sorry for the mistake in the spelling of your name. I have corrected this, and your account name is now Daniel and Christine Vidolich. Have a blessed day!
