I recently received information about one of my sponsor children in the Philippines informing me that his family was affected and their home was destroyed, which breaks my heart. They did not have information about he and his family but I assume that means that they are safe now and in good health.

What is the best way to bless his family at this time? I want to give a monetary gift and I want to know which one will go directly to them so that they can use it for what they need, as opposed to the gifts that get put into a pot, etc.

Will a Family Gift go directly to them? I'm aware that processing takes a couple months so I want to get it to them as soon as I can.

Thank you!!

Rhonnie, a Family Gift will go directly to your child's family.

Rhonnie, we're so thankful for your loving and supportive presence in your child's life! Your investment in him over the long term is a key part of our program. You have an amazing opportunity here to encourage and bless this family through this disaster.

Yes, a Family Gift or Child Gift would be specifically for your child and his family. The Christmas Fund is the only type of gift that is pooled together for all the children.
