I just received several emails stating that some items that I mailed in cannot be delivered to my kids. I sent a letter, a picture, and a sticker sheet set. I can call if necessary to speak with someone but thought I might get a faster answer here. Why won't/can't these items be sent? I would like to know so that I don't make the same mistake again.

I'm not staff but the main reasons would either be that the 1) the stickers were puffy or something not paper or 2) It exceeded 6 sheets of paper total.  (If you letter was one page, the picture is one page and then you could have up to 4 sticker sheets etc, where as a two page letter would be 3 sticker sheets).

If neither of those apply, it could be a false email.  I know there was a glitch a bit ago where people were getting that email and told to ignore it as it went out accidentally.

Compassion staff should be able to answer your question with a more specific reason in a bit though when they look up your account :)

Thanks. The stickers were flat and it was a total of 4 pages sent. I'm hoping it was an error.

Hi Chantel! I am so sorry for the concern those emails must have caused you. I know you probably took quite a lot of care and time to put those special packages together for your girls. I believe it is the Christmas letter packages that generated the email, although I agree that nothing seems to be wrong with them (according to what I can see). As long as you followed the guidelines exactly, those stickers went through just fine. I can see the letter and photo you sent. Did you sent two sheets of stickers to each girl?

This is what I sent. The manger scene is just a flat piece of paper

Katherine, That's good to know. I had actually purchased a variety of sticker/scene sets like that before the new guidelines, and just figured it was not useful to send them anymore. I guess it would still work as a set if the scenes were scanned. BUT, they would not arrive at the same time, and the kids probably would just get a blank scene one time and a sheet of stickers another time. I have to admit, this part of the guidelines does seem quite silly when it breaks up a set. Especially when other items are being physically sent. That's my opinion, but for now I have just quit sending extras so it is not a big issue for me.

I kind of assumed the scene would be scanned when I sent this so I made sure to include in the letter what I was sending and how to use it.
