Unreadable Letter

On Friday I saw that a letter from one of my correspondent girls was finally done translating. When I went to open it an error pops up that says, "Our Apologies. We were unable to load the letter." The girl is named Jirayu (TH7070339).

Hi Halie! I'm sorry you're also having trouble. I'm sending you your sweet kiddos letter via email and it's adorable. You're going to love it. I think Blessing discovered a new species of giraffe because it's black yellow and pink! ;) Adorable!

I had a letter that showed up, I read it and then I came back that night and it was gone. It now says its still in transit? Any help would be awesome!

Hi Ross! I am so sorry you weren't able to read that letter again :(. I was looking for your account to see if I had a copy I could email, but I wasn't able to get into your account with your email address. Do you know your sponsor number o this child's ID number?

I've had that same problem the last day or two. This morning it happened with Sebastian, and now the letter doesn't appear in the list. I'm going to look again later today, and hopefully it will be back :)

I too, had this problem with letter from Kevin P and William L on my account.  I was able to read William's letter, but it would not let me reply and then it disappeared.  I could not open Kevin's letter at all.

Sara, did you try logging out and back in? Also, try this link to clear your compassion cache specifically on your My Account:  http://www.compassion.com/admin/ClearSession.htm. Once you do this, try loading your letters again.

I got an email this morning saying I had a new letter from Iris (HO372), but the letter won't load for me. Can you please email it to me? Also, I've been a correspondent to Jeymi (HO365) for 6 months and I haven't received a letter and there is not one in translation yet. Can I inquire about this? Thanks!

I have the same trouble.  I was able to read a letter from Carmen (ES8770080)  but then it disappeared.  It also said I had a letter ready from Reymark (PH5780070) , but was unable to load.

Do we have to log in to our account to find out that we have letters?  I was not aware of them until I logged in to write letters to my kids.  It would be nice if we received email notification when we had a letter.

Hi Karen! I am so sorry your letter from Carmen disappeared on you :(. I am sending you a copy of the letter by email this morning, and you will also receive a printed copy in the mail. Reymark's letter is not actually ready for you to read as it is still going through translation. That green bar indicating you have an unread letter can be quite deceiving, I know! Though you can log into your account to see what letters are on the way to you, you should actually receive email notifications when the letters are ready to be read. Did you check your spam folder for any notifications about new letters?

Thanks, Sarah.  I rec'd the email.  I checked my spam folder...I never rec'd an email notification regarding letters that were ready.

I am having the same problem with my letter from Geoffrey Kamwak (KE7900016). It says I have a new letter but then I get the unable to load message. Could you check on that letter for me? I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks and God bless!

Hi Heather! I am so sorry you are experiencing that issue. That error might happen once in a while over the next few months, but we are working to fix it. In the meantime, I am sending Geoffrey's letter to you in an email this morning :).

My account says I have a letter from Micaela from April 6, 2016, but there is no envelope to click on to read it. Can this be emailed to me?

Hi Rachel! The reason the letter doesn't have an envelope indicating it is ready to read is because it has just finished going through the translation process, but still has steps to go through before it is ready to be put on your account. I have no doubt you'll be reading that letter soon :)!
