Updated Photos in App

Hi, I recently received updated photos of my sponsor children by mail. Will these photos also be updated in the Compassion app? If not, would it be possible to have the jpegs of the photos sent to me via email?

If it was a gift photo, then there are not JPGs available.  Those are scanned in on the child's side. You can access the letter on your Compassion account. I typically do Print Screen then paste into Paint so I can crop out the picture as a JPG. If they were updated photos, then yes it will be in the app and you can get a JPG.

Hi Karen! Sarah is correct. If they were gift photos, then we can send you the letter via email, and if they were simply photo updates, then those will be available to you on the app. We would also be happy to send those to you via email, if you would like!

Thanks, Sierra. These are regular photo updates. It's been about a month since I received for one child and a couple weeks for the other, but the app hasn't been updated yet. If possible to email me the photos I'd appreciate it! My sponsor number is 06865805. Also, I think it's been suggested before but I do think it would be wonderful to be able to view all photos in the app, current as well as all previous years. I'm saving them on my phone now in case I lose the printed ones, but availability in the app would be even better. Sometimes it's nice to go back and reflect on how much the kids have grown. Thank you!

Thank you so much for this information. I just emailed you a jpeg of each of these new photos. However, I see they are also updated in our system... So it is kind of odd to me that you aren't seeing these online. Have you tried logging out of your app and then back in? Would you mind checking Compassion.com and seeing if they are updated there for you? Thanks so much!

Thank you so much for the email! And yes, it looks like the issue was that I hadn't recently logged out/in of the app. I checked online and the new pics were there, so then logged out/in on the app and the pictures refreshed. Sorry about that! I appreciate your help.
