I sent a letter on January 25. Should I be able to see a copy of what I sent? Under conversations I only see a letter my child sent in November 2016.

Wendy, I'm so sorry that you can't view the letter that you sent to your child on January 25th. I am happy to help you and make sure that your letter was sent to your kiddo. Regrettably, I was not able to locate your account using your email, and there are multiple accounts with your name :(. Will you please provide either your sponsor number, child's number, or your address? If you don't feel comfortable providing this information on a public forum, then you are welcome to email us at socialmedia@compassion.com. Thank you!

Thank you for your reply.  This has been a little bit of a complicated sponsorship.  We are sponsoring Jose through our Royal Ranger scouting group at church.  We started this over a year ago but it is a large church and different people were handling it and well anyway I think that is why there are so many accounts!!!
Sponsored Child - Jose Alejandro Martinez Montesinos Number 06859593 . This is the comptroller but we need the letters to be from our Ranger Group  I think that is what the problem maybe.  I hope you can help with this.  The boys would love to be able to write letters back and forth with Jose.  When we started this missions project we never thought the boys would be so enthusiastic.  They bring in their money every week, including money earned for doing chores and making goals in soccer games.  We though as the leaders we would have to put in matching funds each month but almost every month has been the boys themselves.
Thank you so much for your help with this situation.

Wow, this is rather complicated, Wendy, and I am so sorry for that! Right now, we have the financial sponsor account set as Victory Church, but there is an account under Wendy Taylor and Yvonne Lemons that is the acting correspondent sponsor. This means that all the letters to and from Jose are connected to that one instead of the Victory Church one. When you log into the online account, you are logging into the financial account. When you do that, you cannot see the letters that have been written since the correspondent account was set up. There isn't an online account set up for the correspondent sponsorship, but I can see the letter that you wrote on January 25th logged there. Since you want the boys in the Royal Ranger scouting group to be the ones writing, there's a few things you can do. We cannot simply change the name on any of the accounts, because it is against tax codes; however, we can make a correspondent account for the group if you'd like to do that. The financial information will still be connected to Victory Church, but the letters would be addressed to the Royal Ranger Scouts (or whatever you want to be the group name on the account). That way, Jose is writing to the boys, and the boys can be the ones writing to him. The account under Wendy Taylor and Yvonne Lemons would be taken out of the sponsorship relationship with Jose. You would still need to create a new online account for the correspondent sponsorship under the boys ' group name if you did that. This is super complicated, so please let me know if you have more questions! It's rather hard to explain!

Thanks for your help.  I have to admit I am very confused!! Ok so the correspondent account that has Yvonne and my name can it be set up so that letters can be through it or do we have to set up a whole other account?  I am just not sure how to set up an account.  I tried playing with setting up an account using sponosr number 4017409-4 and tells me sponsor number is invalid?  The login and password we are using was given to us by the comptroller at the church.(not sure if that makes a difference).  Also what would I do tomake it a correspondent account?
Thanks again for all your help.  I just want to make this experience better for the boys.

Wendy, your account is already setup as a correspondent account to write letters to Jose. That said, it is setup under your name and Yvonne Lemons so we would need to essentially change the correspondent in order to have the letters sent to and from the Royal Ranger Scouts. It sounds like this is what you are wanting to do so I will go ahead and take care of that for you. I am keeping all the contact information that you had on the correspondent account previously and you can always update it once you have an online account if need be. I would recommend waiting until we have the new account to create a username and password. I will email you the number and information about setting up an online account so you can get started.
