I would like to stop sponsoring. My sponsored child is now out of the program and you've sent me a letter stating I will be sponsoring another child. I am getting older and can't afford to sponsor children at this time. And when I joined Compassion years ago, I was told I would not be bothered with junk mail. Compassion continually sends E-Mails, and letters trying to make me feel guilty about not giving more and sponsoring more children. I give locally and am tire of everyone wanting more and more. I have deleted my bank information and want to discontinue this program. Do not send me a bill charging me for a new sponsorship. Your offices are only open when I'm working, so I can not call. This is my official notice to Opt Out of the program.
Thank You - James Schaeffer

Hi James! Thank you so much for blessing Yeser with sponsorship while he was in the program. What a blessing that he was able to graduate! I sincerely apologize that our communications have left you feeling unappreciated for everything you were able to do for Yeser. That was not our intention at all, and it has been an honor for us to partner with you for the time we were able to! As requested, I have placed the child we had put on your account for consideration up for sponsorship with someone else. Your account will not have any more active commitments on it, nor will donations be pulled from your account moving further.
