We mailed the first letter to our child a few weeks ago. Instead of seeing our letter on the app though, we are seeing another family’s.

We sent The first letter to our child via snail mail. However, when I log into the app, I’m seeing that another family’s letter to my sponsored child. Does he accidentally have two sponsors? Has my letter been received at headquarters?

Hi Megan, 
I am so sorry for the confusion! Please know that each child can only ever have one sponsor, as our system cannot allow a double sponsorship, so thankfully we know that is not the case. :)

However, I do want to ask you a couple questions about your letters with this sweet kiddo. I only see one letter right now, its the one from Darren, Leslie, Mackenzie and Turner. Is this the letter from the other family? Also, when did you mail your letter? Thank you so much for getting back with us!

Hi there- thanks for getting back to me. Yes, I do not know who the Turners are. We sent the letter in the mail about 2 weeks ago. It had pictures, stickers, a letter, and a drawing in it.

Hi Megan, 

Thank you so much for confirming! I have removed this letter. It looks like it was actually from this child's previous supporter so they must have sent this before they stopped sponsoring. I am so sorry for that. You should no longer see this letter. 
Also, at this time, our mail staff are just a little on scanning letters. With that said, we are seeing about a month or so wait time for these letters to be fully processed and on your account. This means that in another 2-3 weeks or so it should be on your account. If you still do not see it by then, please feel free to check back in with us! :)
