I read somewhere this means the letter was canceled. Can someone please elaborate – will we never get to read her letter then?

I got a letter dated March 4 but the letter in February has an X on it. March 4 letter was translated but that very letter not translated ?

In this case I suspect the February letter was cancelled (and thus will never finish going through translation) and the MArch letter was the replacement.

Hi Serena! I was able to locate your account and look into this letter for you. Regrettably, the letter from Tom in February was indeed sent back for him to rewrite because he did not answer questions you had asked in your previous letter to him. Please rest assured that he is not in trouble or anything. This happens sometimes, and the kiddo will simply be asked to write you another letter answering your questions :). His next letter should be on its way to you soon. Thank you for your understanding and patience!

That is correct, that means that letter is not translated yet.
