The introductory pamphlet that I received was "Roxana and You - Your Sponsorship Journey." In the letter I just received from my child, she is listed as Helenna. Which is the name that she would like me to use when I write to her?

Ask your child!  I have a Child named Kerly Yajaira but the website called her "Yajaira" In my first letter I ask her how she preferred to be addressed. She calls herself Kerly.  So that is how I've referred to her ever since.

I also have heard of kids that have changed what they prefer to be known as over time.

Hi Ellie! Sarah made a wonderful suggestion of asking your kiddo in your next letter, and I definitely encourage you to do this as well! I see that your beautiful girl has quite a full name. This is very common with Hispanic naming traditions. Many children have two given names, one paternal surname, and one maternal surname. Helenna Roxana has two given names, so she may choose to go by either Helenna or Roxana :). Our information does show that she prefers to be called Roxana, but, as Sarah mentioned, she may change her mind over time. We hope you enjoy blessing sweet Roxana and getting to know her! Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
