At the projects, what supplies are available to the kids? Obviously they have crayons or colored pencils because they draw us pictures but do they have glue available an scissors? I'd like to send a craft for my kids to do.

Hi Lindsee! All of our centers have coloring supplies - crayons, colored pencils, or markers. However, it really varies as far as what types of supplies each center has and what is available. When I visited a center and we were doing a craft, I cut out the activity first and had the kids color it. This turned out to be a good idea because this particular center did not have scissors for the kids to use and it would have been difficult with the younger kids. Most centers that I have seen have glue, especially if they do handicrafts as a vocational skill, but I cannot guarantee that every center will. It is best to do any cutting beforehand and include some way for them to adhere the project together (string maybe?).

Susan, I have some letters I printed out to spell my kid's names. I can cut them out and punch the holes, but they require string. You mentioned string in the post above. Is it ok to send string?

Hi Garry! Great question. We can send very small quantities of string but not much. Seeing as how you're wanting to use it to hold the letters together for the project you're working on for your children, this should be fine :).
