Is this the same address I use to send gifts to my child? I keep reading about what I may send, but I do not see an address. Please help me. Thank you, Beth

Beth, the address listed above for Compassion International is the same for all correspondence (letters and paper gifts) for your child. I'm glad to hear you know what goodies you can send to your child :-)

I want to send my child a hand written letter, and maybe a small token like a homemade bracelet, but I can't find an address to send it to. Do I send it to Compassion first?

Hi Tiana! You can't send a bracelet to your sponsored child, but you may send paper items like stickers and bookmarks.

you can find paper bracelets like what u get at the fair online, and have them make paper friendship bracelets w/ them. That's what I'm doing with my little girl Regita.

We enroll children ages 3-9 in our sponsorship program. If you are interested in being sponsored, please visit your local church to see if they partner with us and have space in their program for you.

My daughter would like to send a personal birthday card to our sponsor child. Could you please tell me what address we should send it to and how to address the envelope? The child's name is Jeniffer D Elos Santo Llatas Altamirano (PE2040912). Thank you.

I see the adress to send a handwritten letter to, but how will you know what child it goes to? Should I include his name somewhere or write my sponsor number? Also, the child I'm sponsoring is only three so what should I write to him about?

When you send something to your sponsored child, you have to include your name, your number, the child's name, and the child's number on everything you send. So that if something gets misplaced, it will still get delievered to the child. There have been times when people have forgotten to write the info on the item and it has gone through, but its not recomended because of the risk of it getting lost.
As for writting to a 3 year old. I have a 3 year old brother and i know the things he likes to talk about is Mickey Mouse and Chuck e Cheese. While the child will probably not know what they are, you can talk about your favorite Disney character, send stickers (kids LOVE stickers!) of Disney characters, and talk to them like you would talk to a normal 3 year olds. Talk about what you like to do, your favorite animal, your favorite thing to do. ANd even though they cant read the letters now, they will look back to these letters in years to come and will be able to read them. just be yourself. Dont get too deep, talk about very superficial things. If you get too deep, he might loose interest or not understand. and be goofy. If something silly happened to you recently, talk about it! Like "My dog just got all wet and he got me all wet too! Isnt that funny?" i also teach 3 year olds to the VPK level, so the very basic will do. Also, write about your childhood and the things you liked to do.
I hope this helped. Remember, most importantly, they will cherish these letters forever. And no matter what you write, they will love you just the same.
Hoped i helped. :)

I have made a small photo album for my child out of construction paper (as suggested on the website) and want to mail it, but I can't find where to mail it to. Is there an address in Colorado that I'm supposed to mail it to? And what do I need to include on the envelope? (i.e. my child's name? Or their ID number? Or my sponsor number?) HELP!

Do have to send it to a certain department? I noticed on the envelopes provided for us that the address usually has something like:
ATTN: Translation Department
...something along those lines not quite sure...

You should do
ATTN: Correspondence Department
It will get there either way, but this helps the process go faster :)
