I want to give a gift to my sponsored child this Christmas. Should I give it through the christmas gift program? There is no way to designate for it to go to my child.

The Christmas Gift Program is used to purchase gifts for all of the Compassion children. Your child will be told that the present he or she receives is from you. If you would like to designate a separate gift specifically for your child, that can be given as a general child gift.

Hi,
I see on my account that if we give money for Christmas our child will receive a gift during a Christmas celebration. What if I am unable to send a monetary Christmas gift? Will my child still be able to attend the center's Christmas celebration? I feel bad about not being able to give more, but even worse if the child cannot attend since I couldn't send them money.
Thanks!
