I am wondering if the Second Friday Letter Writing means we send our letters to Compassion on the second Friday or should they arrive at Compassion on Friday?

The second Friday letter writing group has some great ideas about what to write and some little paper crafts to do!  But.... you can send mail to your kids 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Doesn't matter when it is sent out.  That is just a suggestion, and a group to give us ideas.  Also, you might want to take advantage of the online writing tool on Compassion.com so that you can write a quick letter any day of the month.

You can send it any time you want to.  I try to send something online or by mail each Friday.  I try to alternate.  So me people write once a month, some write only when they get a letter.  It is up to you when to write and how often.  It can take a month up to a couple of months to get to your child depending on his/her location, so keep that in mind.  Have fun and know that you and your letters are a blessing to that child no matter when the letters are received.

Hi Terri! Just to clarify, several sponsors came up with the idea of having a regular date to write letters to their sponsored children. This makes it easier to remember to write letters and is also fun as several of us all write on the same day each month. You are welcome to send letters on the Second Friday of each month but you don't have to. As Debbie pointed out, you can send letters 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. :)
