It’s been over 3 months since I was notified that a letter was being sent from my child, Roba, in Ethiopia. But I still haven’t received the letter; nor is it available to read yet on the Compassion website. It says it’s still being processed or translated.

Hi Andrew!
I am so sorry for the delay in getting this letter translated! Because we have recently switched all of our partner countries over to our new translation software and we know that there will be some learning curve in getting used to this, we may see a little bit of delay in translating these letters. For the time being, in order to allow our staff some time to transition to this new software, we will not be able to push any of these letters through. We expect that they should be viewable within a couple months, but since this is all new to us it is hard to know for sure. Thank you so much for your understanding and patience as we get through the learning curve! I pray this letter will be available for you soon!

I understand that y’all switched translation software. But I’m kinda confused cause I already received a letter from my other child, Sofia, from the Philippines even though she wrote me after Roba in Ethiopia wrote his letter to me. I figured I’d receive Roba’s Letter first since he wrote before Sofia did. But I’m still waiting for his letter.

Andrew, again, I am so sorry for the confusion you have been waiting so long for this letter. The translation is done at each of our country offices and so sometimes when we upgrade our systems the learning curve is different in different in different countries. I trust this letter will come through for you real soon.
