My very first sponsored child was sponsored at an event on Oct 29. My account was opened Nov 11. "Official email" with sponsor ID was sent Nov 16.  The second sponsored child was done online on December 23. She showed up on my account Dec 28.  So I'd give it a week or so.

I added another kiddo late Friday and they are not on yet. Last time I did that on a weekend they showed up the mext business day(fir me-tomorrow I hope)

Theresa, I completely understand your eagerness to begin your sponsorship of sweet Wilson! We appreciate your patience and understanding as we are going through a complete system transition. As Sarah said before, this system transition is definitely causing a delay in processing new sponsorships. I'm so sorry for this longer than normal wait, but please rest assured that Wilson is on hold specifically for you until this sponsorship can be processed. Because you have received the confirmation (thank you) email, I can confirm that Wilson is indeed your boy :). It's just a matter of time now! Thank you for your continued patience :).

thank you, thank you, thank you! I found Wilson!!!  I am overjoyed to see his wonderful cute as a button face! May I ask one more favor please? I do not have jpegs of any of the kiddos, but I would love one of Danny Joel Toapanta Pujota (EC047800947). A little david fighting a giant like cancer shold not be fuzzy :0) ( is it inappropriate to ask what type of cancer it is? I know some are almost always curable and some just the opposite.) I appreciate it and thank you again so very much!!!!!

I started to sponsor a child from Compassion International website for the first time on Friday, June 24th and I was able to write a letter the next day from June 25th.

Hello, I was told it could take up to 2 weeks for a new child to be added due to the new system changes. I made changes in 1/13.

I'm having this issue also. Sponsored Maria in Brazil on Thursday and she is still not on my account. Kids normally show up within a few hours for me. I'm thinking it must be because of the big technology upgrades this month.

Hi Eleanor and Emily! With our ministry literally transitioning from our old system to the new system in the last few days, it will most likely take a little extra time for these new kids to show up for you. If you haven't seen them show up by Friday, let me know. I'd be happy to look into it for you then!

Thank you Sarah I was told on the phone today that I never sponsor her they said it would take another 3 weeks. I sponsor her almost two weeks ago. So if you can get her on my account I will be happy. Pimvipha Apaiklang TH9320115. Just like to know if I can write to her now.

Little Maria from Brazil still has not shown up on my account. I have the confirmation e-mail from when I sponsored her, but I do not have her child number. Her name is Maria Clara Borges De Carvalho. I believe she was in BR471. Thanks!! :)

Please rest assured that Maria is definitely your child because you have received your confirmation email. Now, it is just a matter of time before you see your precious girl on your account :). I signed up to Sponsor 2 children that I'm almost positive are brothers on Feb 17th at an event. For some reason I never got a confirmation email, they are not on my account, and I can't search through the system to find them! :( Can someone help me find them? They are from Brazil. Keven (BR5500350) and Samuel (BR5500349).

Ella, thank you so much for this helpful information! I was able to do some research and discover the issue. I see that you did indeed signed up with the name Elfleda Bourne :). However, we accidentally created two separate accounts, one child on each, instead of placing both kiddos on the same account. I'm so sorry for our mistake! I have already sent a request to our processing department to merge these two accounts so you can see Keven and Samuel on one account. The account that will remain active is 07546691. Please rest assured that these two boys are both your sponsored children, and it will simply take some time for us to combine these accounts. Regrettably our processing department is a bit behind, but they will take care of your account as soon as they can.

Hey Ella, the account that we should be keeping is global ID number 0746691. You should be able to create your online account with that ID and your email address. Regrettably, our processing team is several weeks behind on account management tasks, due to the recent closure of our programs in India, so it may be a couple more weeks before we have your account straightened out on our side. I do apologize for that delay in processing.

Hi there! We sponsored another boy on Friday Nov. 3rd and were wondering when he would show up on our account? I emailed Compassion and they said you just needed that first contribution. I emailed giving permission and I just wanted to make sure it got through since sometimes replies don't go through on my end!
