My child has a birthday next month. Will he get my gift and letter in time?

We encourage you to send your birthday gift and letter about two months prior to your child's birthday. This will allow enough transit time for it to reach your sponsored child around their birthday. However, if it is closer to your child's birthday, no need to fret. Go ahead and send your letter and gift and they will still receive it- just a little late. No worries though, your sponsored child will be so excited no matter when your gift and letter reaches them.

You cannot send a physical gift (except for cards, bookmarks, stickers, etc) unless someone is going to the country in person. You send those paper gifts to Compassion at their address with the child's ID clearly marked on it or you can send a money gift electronically by calling it in or through your account.
