Where is the birthday musical card that I sent to Compassion???

Hello,

I sent a birthday musical card, my personal postcard, and a bookmark on June 30 to Compassion headquarter in Colorado. I paid around $7 for 2 day shipping. It should definitely have been arrived at Compassion center on July 5th or the latest July 6th. Now, I am worried that the birthday musical card, which should have hand delivered to my child got lost. Please try to find where my card is ASAP!! If it got lost, I will be very upset. I will have to resend it again before my child's birthday passes!

Jenny,  What makes you think it hasn't gotten there? If you sent it June 30 it most likely has gotten there and is being put through the mailing process. 
All correspondence goes through Compassion headquarters and is sorted and mailed to country offices before being translated and sent on to your child's center. This process takes 2-3 months. 

I'm sure someone from Compassion will be able to look into this for you tomorrow if you're still concerned.

I contacted Compassion today and they say my birthday card is not showing in the system. So, they are not sure if it arrived there or not. :(

It can take some time to get through the sorting process, depending on the volume of mail they receive. I would guess that it's there, but the ladies that monitor this forum are excellent at what they do and I'm sure they'll do their best to help you tomorrow.

Thanks for the comment! I hope they can help me find my birthday card. This is the first birthday card my child will be receiving from me as I am a new sponsor. I really hope he gets it on time :)

Jenny, I do see that a letter was put into the system on 7/5, but I can't actually see what it is yet. Have you written to Wogayehu any more since you sent that letter? Also, we are caught up on processing physically mailed letters through June 30, but we do get thousands of letters a day to sort and get into the system. It's very possible that your birthday card made it to our office just fine and is still waiting in queue to go through the system. I'm happy to check on your account again next week.

Thank you for the quick reply. The letter that was sent on July 5 is the note about family gift. That is not a birhday musical card. Please let me know when my birthday musical card shows in the system. I don't want it to end up getting lost close to his birthday. Thanks!
