Hi Lorraine! Yes, this is the address to send letters for your child to. Depending on whether you are using one of our Postage Paid envelopes or not, you may have to pay for postage.

Hi Logan! Welcome to this community! Yes, you can send a letter in that envelope. Any envelope is fine just as long as you send it to that address. Thanks for being awesome and writing to your kiddo!

P.S. I like that profile picture. :) I hope to be in a photo exactly like that here in a couple weeks! :)

What is the address that I would send letters and packages to for my sponsored child? I tried to find it online but I found a couple different ones and wanted to make sure I was sending to the right place. Thank you!

The Compassion website says we can mail small gifts to our sponsored child. Can you please give me the mailing address? I want to make sure I send it to the right place.

Hi Brandy! Thank you for wanting to bless your child in such a tangible way! I merged your inquiry into this conversation as other's also had this question! You can just send your items to the address that Susan provided above. Please make sure to put your sponsor number and child reference number on each item you send so that it is processed correctly and we can ensure it reaches your child. :)

Hi Marcy! How neat that your own kids are writing letters and getting involved in the sponsorship of your Compassion children! Thank you so much for the impact you make on their lives. :) I merged your inquiry with this conversation as others have also had this question. Please be sure to add your name, sponsor number, child name, and child number, on everything that you send so that it is processed correctly. Let me know if you have any other questions!

This may seem silly, but I am a new sponsor. I know to put my and my sponsored child's information on the package. I just don't know WHERE to send the package. Is there a central address these go to?

Hi Wendy! That is not a silly question at all :). Welcome to the Compassion family and I hope you find the above information that Susan posted, helpful! I did want to note that all items you send to your child must be made of paper. You might be interested in reading a complete list of items you can send to your child, here.

Thank you so much for writing to your child and I pray that you enjoy your relationship with her!

It might be a good idea to include this address in the "Write your child" section of the booklet you send with a new sponsorship.

Great idea, Athena! We do print our physical address (12290 Voyager Pkwy, Colorado Springs, CO 80921) at the bottom of the letter stationary in the Welcome Booklet. While all of our addresses go to the same place, we prefer the address with the 80997-0004 address for child correspondence. I could see how having multiple addresses could get confusing too. However, I will mention this as a suggestion to our team that developed the booklet to see if we might include the correspondence address on the stationary in the Welcome Booklet.

You all should really include this mailing information in the booklet you send to sponsors. It's rather misleading and frustrating when we want to send things to our children and you don't provide the appropriate information outright.  Clearly you seem to prefer electronic correspondence since there's no detail about how to send tangible letters.  You should consider adding this information to the website and to the booklet, not just in the "questions" section.

Denise, I've passed your suggestion along again for consideration as we're always looking for ways we can serve our sponsors better and this seems to be something that you feel would greatly help as people begin their sponsorship. Our motive is not to confuse you or get you to write online rather than mailing tangible cards and I'm sorry it has caused so much frustration :(. Although we prefer the 80997 zip code for receiving correspondence to your child as Susan mentioned, please rest assured that whichever address you mail your letters to (including the one on the welcome packet), they will reach our office in Colorado Springs and we'll be sure to get them to your child.

Please know that we value letters both tangible, hand written letters as well as letters written online. Every encouraging word that you send to your children gives them hope and tells them they're loved and valued and we appreciate you so much!

I have gotten letters returned from post office and mine won't accept them without a street address or post office box. Is there one for the zip code you prefer?

Hi Liz! I am so sorry you have had letters returned :(. You can use our physical address:

Compassion International
12290 Voyager Parkway
Colorado Springs, CO 80921-3668

We do prefer the address with the 80997 zip code, but that one has no street address or P.O. Box. Your letters will still arrive at our Colorado Springs office and we'll be sure to forward them to your child.

I would like to send my child some small pictures I've painted on photo paper. It's 8.5" x 11" and no frame. Where should this be mailed to be sent to him?

Good morning, Charlene! Thank you so much for painting your child fun pictures! I merged your question into this conversation so that you can see the address for our office that Susan provides in the first comment of this forum. We will be sure to get these to your boy!

Hi Debi! We processed a letter from Jorge on November 20. Otherwise, we haven't received any new letters for you yet. It has been over six months since you have heard from Melany, so I am going to send an inquiry for you today. The project will have her send a letter to you :). I am so sorry you haven't heard from Luis in a while! I'd expect him to write you soon, but if you don't hear from him by January 10 please let us know. We can send an inquiry for him at that time too.

Hello dear,my name is Moses.I am  working in a health profession in the Eastern of DRC.I had an opportunity to work in a neighbor country in which Compassion International is acting and was really happy. My question is this,is there any program about the DRC?Many children people are so poor because of the insecurity and the war.
Children are abandoned by their parents because of missing how to pay for them some school fees, health and feeding them.Is it possible to have this compassion services in this country? If no why?
Please,i will be so glad to obtain some answers from compassion team.
