Why is all the correspondence history removed from my account when my child turns 22 and ages out of the program?

My child turned 22 and suddenly all traces of him are removed from my account. That is really sad for me. I realize that he’s graduated from the program but you don’t need to remove all traces of him from my account. How about keeping the child in my account with a status of “graduated” and remove the ability to write letters and send money?

Look to the left where it says "My Archived Letters" -- all the letters are there.

Wendy, I'm deeply sorry for any confusion or sadness caused by no longer seeing your sponsor child on your account. When a child graduates the program, we do send information to you by email or mail, and I'm so sorry if you did not receive this information before logging into your account. Regrettably, there is no way for us to keep your child completely on your account once they have completed the program. However, as Sarah mentioned, you are indeed still able to see your child's letters in the "My Archived Letters" section of your My Account. Please let us know if you have any questions about this. Please know that we are incredibly grateful for all the love and care that you have invested in your child's life! You have not only impacted his life but his family and community as well. I'm sure he will never forget the difference you have made. God bless you!
