What are you seeing that is a huge discrepancy? I just checked all 9 of my kids between the current weather in the app and what the Weather.com currently says and the weather on the app is the same for 7. For one, Weather.com does not have any cities close enough to check. (He's pretty remote. No car access to his area.)  And for one (actually in the same area as another kid) the weather is off by 10 degrees. Almost like they have the wrong area pegged for it in the background.  OTOH, one is up in the mountains and the other is lower down. That difference could actually make a difference in weather.

I see a discrepancy between the weather network and what I see out my window have the time and I live in a decent size city in North America.  It's just the weather changes so often here and it's also often hard to predict, and the location of the weather station in the community.  I can look at three different websites (weather network, the Canadian weather one and one for my city) and all are different) Plus sometimes it's raining at my house and not at my parents... they live only 1 mile away from me.  So unless it's updating every second and the weather station is on top of your kids house,  I wouldn't count on it to be accurate or the same everywhere.  Some in more remote areas probably take the reading at the nearest city which might be actually very far away.  I think the closest you'd be able to get is an average idea of what's happening out there.  You could find out after tracking for awhile if it's generally the sunny or the rainy season there, if it's normally hot or cold this time of year and if they get a lot of storms.

Good morning John,
As others have said, we all know that weather changes very quickly and we cannot always predict what weather will be like. However, we have had issues in the past where we are seen inaccurate information on a child's account and this could also be the issue. If you wouldn't mind, I would appreciate if you would email us a screen shot of the weather shown from Compassion and then a screen shot of any other weather website at that same time. This will allow us to confirm we do have the information for Jose correct. You may email this to us at socialmedia@compassion.com. Thank you!
