My sponsored child Kitsada, is already 11 years old, but I always receive letters from monitors, saying that he can't write yet. I'd like to know if he really doesn't know to write and read and why is that só?

Hello Cristiane!

I did take a look at the most recent letter you received from Kitsada and it does look like they said that Kitsada cannot write. Whatever reason why Kitsada can not write, the Compassion staff there is aware of why he is unable to write and I am sure are helping him as well. Let us know if you have any further questions and we will be happy to assist you!

Hello, I'd really like to know what is his difficulty as I Care a lot about him. Does he have a learning disability? Are children in his country taught to write and read later? I know he is in 5th grade and so it seems to me that something is not right. Please, I really would like to know what is happening to My boy. Thanks and I Will be waiting for an explanation about his problema. Thanks, many blessings.

Hello Cristiane.

I completely understand your concern. We do not show of records that Kitsada has a disability of any kind. Each schooling in the countries are a bit different as well. I would recommend asking in a letter if he is learning how to write. I would suggest asking it if someone is helping him at the center with writing. I am very sorry that we do not have more information on our end. This would be something you can ask through a letter though.
