When we receive letters from our children will there still be a way for their drawings to be scanned in and sent to us? Will those still come in the post?

I don't work for Compassion, but both sides of the letter the child writes will be scanned so you'll still see any drawings that they did.  The system is still a bit glitchy, so that is not always happening at the moment, but that is how it will work eventually! :)

Hi Terri! Yes, your child's drawings will be scanned through with their letter and printed out in our office in Colorado. You'll receive a digital scanned copy of Teeranan's drawings in the mail :).

Thank you. Also it is difficult to figure how to do this new process with his birthday coming up in July when I am use to gathering things and sending them to him in April.

Terri, I'm sorry you're finding the new process difficult. Please let me know of anything you're needing help with and I'm happy to walk you through it! You might really enjoy the new feature we've placed on the online writing tool that allows you to send birthday cards to your child! We certainly don't want the new process to be difficult which is we tried to write very clear guidelines for sending physical items to your child. If you have any questions as you gather up things for your boys birthday, let us know and we're happy to clarify or explain.
