I just got a letter from one of my children and she stated that her parents have gotten jobs. PRAISE GOD!! She also said that she didn't want to leave the project. I don't know how much the family's situation will improve with the jobs. While I would be sad to loose her, it would be a blessing for them to be able to be self sufficient. Will I get any kind of notice if it is determined that she will no longer be enrolled at Compassion due to improvements in the family condition/situation so that I can send a final letter?

Hi Chantel!
What a true blessing! Please know that it is our hope that they will no longer need our assistance, but even if they both got really good jobs, it will be a little bit before making that decision because we want to ensure they will be successful long term. However, if Compassion was to make this decision with the family, we will notify you right away. You will also be given plenty of time to send a final letter. Really, the only circumstance where you would not be given the ability to send a final letter is if the family moves and they do not notify Compassion of their new address. However, you will typically have about 90 days to send a final letter, so there will be plenty of time! :)
