If I send a calendar to my sponsored child in Ethiopia in English, will she be able to use it?

Well, I do not think your child would be able to use that. In Ethiopia, they use a different calendar. Their new year is actually in September. However if you want to send her a calendar, I am sure she'll love looking at it!

Kate, I agree with Lizzie. Sometimes an English Calendar may be able to be translated or may make sense on it's own in other countries. However, in Ethiopia they have a different calendar. One thing you could do is send a letter along with it explaining that we use this type of calendar or depending on the calendar your child might just enjoy the pictures.
