I started sponsoring a little girl this year, and now I have a correspondent child as well. I'd love to swap ideas with other sponsors about what words of encouragement you write to your sponsored kids in your letters. Here are some of my ideas:

You are beautiful!
Education will help you have a brighter future.
I'm proud of you.
I believe in you.
The Lord will open doors of opportunity for you!
The Lord has a plan for your life.
You are a great artist!

What words of encouragement do you send your sponsored kids? (And, Compassion staff, maybe a compilation of these ideas would make a neat blog post someday?)  :)

It's a child that has a paying Sponsor that doesn't write for a variety of reasons. They graciously give up writing privileges and let a 'correspondent' write and encourage that child. I am blessed to have three that I write. You can request one here on this site if you feel God calling you to do that. Hope that answers your question
