Aloha! I have emailed you before with a concern I had when sponsoring my child... My son and I had selected a boy and when receiving a letter from this child, the translator mentioned "she" on numerous occasions. I asked for confirmation that my child was a boy and I got a message saying that they are indeed a boy. Now, I received a picture of my child and it clearly a girl. I plan to continue to sponsor "her" and will not stop due to your error. Please, be aware of this situation and hopefully it will not happen again to someone else. Could I please get reconfirmation that this child is a girl... and not a boy... Thank you.. and Mahalo

Hi Sherry! I sincerely apologize for the confusion regarding Roja's gender. When you expressed your concerns to us, we sent an inquiry immediately to check on the child and verify that we had the correct information and gender. Sadly, we did not have the child's gender correct. Roja is indeed a girl and the photo you received is an updated one to help verify that she is a girl. There are times when our staff accidently marks a child as the opposite gender, but we are usually able to catch the mistake fairly quickly. Thank you so much for loving on Roja! I do hope you will both develop a deep relationship with each other over the years :).
