Wrong sponsored child mail received

If your daughter's sponsored child had a previous sponsor who decided to to no longer sponsor him/her, it is possible that the letter your daughter got was from her child. If a letter was written to that sponsor before he/she stopped the sponsorship, that letter would have then been sent to your child. I am very sorry that Compassion has not called you back in three months. They probably did not get your message for some reason. I suggest that you call them again during the time they're in the office (Mon-Fri. 7am-5:30pm MT). They should be able to help you better than I.

Hello, My daughter had been writing letters for some time with her sponsored child. I think my daughters information was stamped on the wrong childs letter subsequently we received the wrong letter and someone has received my daughters.

Well, I am really not sure. You could send the letter back to Compassion with a note saying that you are not the child's sponsor, or you could call Compassion and ask them what has happened. They will still be able to be reached for a half hour tonight at 800-336-7676.

Hi Jim! I apologize for the confusion with the letters. Every piece of stationery is coded with a bar code so that we can scan the letters. Most likely, another child picked up your daughters child's stationery and used it instead of their own. You received it because the bar code we scanned said it was your daughters, even though it was meant for another sponsor.

Did you send the letter back to us? If so, we would have tried to send it to the correct sponsor. If you haven't, we can still try. Just mail it to the address below with a note explaining that it is not the correct letter.

Although a child wrote on your daughter's child's stationery, this does not mean that your daughter's letter is missing. Its very possible that your daughter's sponsored child had not written at the time that the letter you received was written.

I received another sponser's child's letter. What do I do with this letter so it will get to the correct sponser? I question if I had a letter that was meant for me from my child that went to the wrong person. Please advise what I should do. Thanks!
